V) We adore You, O Christ, and we praise You,

Meditation
Suffering under the weight of the Cross,
Jesus falls to the ground a second time.
The soldiers do not permit Him to rest a moment;
they push and strike and urge Him onward.
My repeated sins wear out my Savior.
As I see this, how can I remain so lukewarm in sin?
Prayer
Jesus, Son of David, have mercy on me!
Lend me your helping hand
that I may never again fall into my former sins.
From this moment,
I will try nevermore to fall into those sins.
Help me with your grace,
because, without it, I can do nothing.
Strengthen me to keep the resolution I have just made.
Our Father... Hail Mary... Glory be...
